Situated in the quaint, picturesque town of Sedgefield, is Van Aardtspos. Our location between Knysna and Wilderness means that we are only a short 40 minute drive from George Airport, and minutes from gorgeous beaches and local shops and restaurants.
Van Aardtspos offers a five bedroom, five bathroom luxury home available for holiday rentals or corporate events. Our home has a manicured garden and gorgeous sea views that can be enjoyed from most rooms in the house. We offer a Bed and Breakfast option to our guests and strive to make their experience with us an unforgettable one!

Wild Oats Market
This multiple award-winning Wild Oats Community Farmers’ Market, small, rustic but internationally famous, continues to attract the enthusiastic attention of proud locals and discerning travelers who consistently return for more of its festive fare. What this initiative has achieved is the blending of people from diverse backgrounds, uniting urban and rural in a mix where important educational experiences about local food sources, nutrition, environmental awareness and agricultural issues all blend into an unusual festive spirit of community. Day Trails
The Goukamma Nature Reserve close to Sedgefield is a beautiful combination of fresh-water lake and coastal sand dunes that provides more than a couple of walking options such as the Beach Walk of 14 kilometres, the Goukamma to Groenvlei route, the Lake Walk and the Circular route. It helps that during whale season there is a good chance of spotting them here
Paragliding Sedgefield

Elephant Park
The Knysna Elephant Park has dedicated the last 20 years to elephants; and it is both nationally and internationally recognised as one of the best captive elephant facilities in the world. More than 40 elephants have been rescued and/or relocated by the Knysna Elephant Park. The Park has played a vital role in formulating regulations and guidelines for captive elephants throughout South Africa.
Gerickes Point
At Gerickes Point you can see some of the highest fossil dunes in South Africa with a 4km hike to the point and back. The point itself offers amazing views to gaze out into the sea and just enjoy the beauty of the ocean. During whale season you can expect to see these amazing creatures playing with their young calves. The point is also home to a resident school of Humpback dolphins so best keep a lookout for these too!
